Why is my plant fat

I’m noticing the my plant is super dense and is growing upwards at a very slow rate. She is chunky for sure. I’m worried that the shoots coming from the nodes are out pacing the canopy and are about to hit the underside of the leaves. Is this normal/okay?

It's an Afghan Kush as i saw in another of ur posts, and it was crossed with some ruderalis so that's what i would expect to see yeah
