It's exactly 3 week's old...

I germinated the seed in a wet paper towl, and planted it in the same bucket as shown in the picture..

It grew quite a bit in the first 2 week's, but started to stop growing so fast during the past week.

Do I need to transplant it into a larger bucket??
Or is the bucket too big, and needs to be transplanted into a smaller one..?? ( I dont think the bucket is too big).

I water it once every other day, and added a very little bit of nute's to it.(Thats why you can see nute burn on one of the leave's.)

The very bottem leave's are dying, but i hear that there supposed too :)

There growing under two(2) 24watt CFL's.
And there is a fan about 2 feet away from it.

Why's it so small at 3 weeks old???
Input appreciated!!
this is my first grow!!
(by the way, the seed is from a random bag of schwag)
hehe

That's not too small for three weeks, what is your lighting schedule? That might have to do with growth. 18/6 lighting is recommended for vegetative stage. Also, you don't want to have a watering schedule, only water when soil is barely moist.

a lot of peeps do that but many say that plants under 24 hours of light grow faster than 18/6. just fyi. but just spend 20 bucks and get a pack of the 23 watters and some Y connecters from any hardware store and ur plants will apreciate it

alright man. when u get the Y connectors, in the same section right next to them somewhere you'll see the connectors that the Y connectors screw into that plug into a regular socket.

Take your current light bulbs out of your current sockets. Screw the Y connector into the socket where your light bulb was just unscrewed. Now Screw 2 light bulbs in where you used to only have one. If you had 2 lights before, now you will have 4.

Ditch the cfl's and get a HPS for 20 bucks (ballast included) puts out 15,000 lumens compared to your 1,700 lumen 23 watters, check out the link! By the way you can add all the 23watters you want but it doesnt increase your lumens. One 23w cfl puts out 1700 lumens. eight 23w cfl's put out a total of 1700 lumens spread out over a larger area. Adding bulbs doesnt increase your lumens it just spreads them out for a larger growing area. to increase lumens (and yield) you must get higher wattage bulbs.

I think he means theres a cord extending from the light, which
he plugged into a extension cord ;-)
no he was right id doesnt have a cord it has 3 wires coming out of it. but all you do is get an outdoor extension cord one of those orange ones cut it strip it back exposing the 3 wires and match the color wires to the same color wires on the light then put on some wire nuts.
