will 6 6500k 23 watt bulbs work for vegging one plant?

hey guys in my grow box I have 6 6500k bulbs. Will they work for flowering or will I have to put some 2700k bulbs in? and If so how would I go about mixing the 6500k's with the 2700ks

They will, it just wont be the best way to do it. As long you switch it to 12-12 they will start to go into flower mode. When you do flower I've read it is good to mix it up to even out the spectrum, go 3 to 1. In you're case I would go 4-2 or 5-1. And 6 23 watt will definetly be enough for vegging 1 plant, I'm vegging 15 plants under 8 23 watters.

Hey GanjaFresh I agree with you that the 42's would be way simpiler, how many lumens do they put out? the 23's are 1600 which equals 69.5 Lumens per watt. I like the idea of more lights because you can move them all around the plant but it is alot more work and can be a real pain in the ass
