Will an ac cool a 1000w hps/mh

I just wanted to get some input from you guys. This weekend i plan on purchasing a 1000w hps/mh light, ,ax wing. Im growing 15 plantsin a 2ft wide by 10ft long closet with the doors off. i have two box fans. My question is will an ac be able to keep the temps down

Yes! get a portable and vent the hose to your attic through the ceiling if you can or out a window. You will also need to put the doors back on and add co2.

yes an ac will always cool anything down make sure it is blowing through a vent line into the closet though..if it still gets too hot you could freeze two litres of water and just rotate them to keep it even cooler. good luck

Thanks alot!. My indoor plants are only 2 weeks old. Would I b able to put the c02 off for another month? Also would a window ac work if I installed it into a closet thats attached to the grow closet, so its just blowing cold air and intaking from the hallway.

Ideally, your AC would draw from in the room and return the chilled air. A single hose portable draws air out of the room for its exhaust. they are very ineffecient.

The co2 is up to you.. you can make it on the cheap with water, sugar, and yeast. The active dry you make bread with, I always add a few crushed frosted mini wheats (secret ingredient).

After its done fermenting you can do a public service and distill the waste. Makes some heavy duty liquor, i donate to local bums. The ones that dont do crack, coz crack is wack.. i taught them to grow poppies and buds... They hustle like a mother fucker too. They have a shanty town in the woods that i helped them with. I work construction so I come across extra material all the time. They are like a peoples republic that is manufactured drug free, just naturals, no crime, and they are pretty much vets and old schools.

I keep a 1000 watt cool with just a 400 cfm fan sucking through an air cooled hood! I have the house central air blowing the ac through a couple lights to keep them cool, but for just the one in a 4x4 tent just the 400 cfm exhaust fan keeps the temps inside the tent the same as the bedroom the tent is in (make sure you vent it out of the room). A/C sucks a lot of power. I would take air cool the light before I worried about a/c. With just the air cooling I can put my 1000 watt light 6 inches from my plants!!!! NO BS!!!
