Will flushing my plants increase the powdery mildew?

I have been battling powdery mildew for the better part of flowering and I think I've established I am going to cut them early, I want to flush with 2-3 times the amount of water, and then start feeding them only water. Is that one big final flush going to cause a rise in the powdery mildew because it just seems like it would. Im also open to suggestions of how to get rid of the powdery mildew, but a some way that it wont affect taste, its one of if not the most important factor to me, thanks

good air circulation will get shot of the mildew, and flushing wont make the mildew worse as long as you get rid of any excess water quick.

peace.

What problems does this stuff cause cause mine just sits around the bottom of my net cups and does much of nothing. Not tryin to hijack but...

Anyways I heard diluted skim milk 1tsp in a half gallon or something and sprayed does the trick on wasting the mildew.
