I have been looking around the forums and have seen that it is ok to use fluorescent lamps i am growing in a 2.5 foot by 1.5 foot (bottom of wardrobe) and am intending on buying 5 of the 2ft fluorescent tubes.
the reason beyond doing this is obviously partly costs atm but eventually will be looking to upgrade) and because i have read that the cool white tubes have got a good bblue spectium and aree good for vegetation then the warm white ones have a red spectum which is good for flowering stage.
the other thing is how many lumens would that be if i was using 5 2ft flourescent tubes, i have got drilled holes on the back of the wardrobe and also have a circular fan facing the back to move the air and let it escape through the back of the wardrobe. i hope this is ok.
i have currently got a plant growing but am using a fireglow red bulb (60w) and 2 spotlights (60w each) and have a fan circulating the air and everything is going ok but not very bushy and looks down i believe its cos lighting is shit so wnat to make sure my new babies get better lights as they will soon be going in there...... any help is appreciated thankyou in advance.
