will i have enough make hash?

wassup everyone , never tried it , but want to do a bubble hash run. dont have the bags yet , but i think im going to get the 1 gallon set off amazon. im not going to be doing large runs so i dont need the 5 gallon bags . i'll be doing it the exact way subcool does it, if youve ever seen his video on youtube.


so my question is will i have enough trim ? in his video he shows a sandwich baggie full of fresh frozen trim. which i presume is an ounce or more . anyways i have two plants. one barneys blue cheese. and one th seeds sage n sour. they are both growing in 3 gallon pots. blue cheese is done pretty much and the sage n sour has another couple weeks. if pics are needed i can post some up real quick. trichome production is not as much as i expected on the blue cheese , but the sns looks real nice.so can i get a baggie full of dank trim off two plants. ohh yeah and forgot to add that im using only a 150 w hps (yikes i know). anyways ill just load some pics up . would it be worth it to try it or just keep compiling my trim over time?

yes, it depends on the type and quality of hash you want, but either way you can make something with those, good luck

ok thanks. ill give er a shot . does anybody combine two or more different plant trim in the same run ? or do they just run single strains at a time? it seems like a good amount of ok hash would be better than a small amount of good and a small amount of regular. just sayin

you can mix strains, it doesnt really matter, i usually mix them so. it doesnt matter either way

You can run a baggies worth, and your prime bud should produce prime hash, but you will be leaving a high percentage of the resin behind to maintain that purity level. Processing the material longer to get more resin, will start mixing in green plant fines and degrade your hash.

You might consider a secondary extraction using a solvent or cooking oil, so as to not be wasteful.

You might also consider dry sieve for small amounts.

the leaves from your 4th and 5th pics, the sugar leafs, are what you really want to use to make bho.. but anything you get outta your trim is more than what you have in your trim... if that makes sense to ya.. GL!

so its possible to make bubble hash real quick and not over rinse it, and then re wash that weed with ISO or butane for a secondary, less potent oil?

Yes it is.

I've never used anything but a five gallon bag and I limit it to 100 grams per run. Probably one of the bubble gurus can give you their ideas on all three.
