Will it recover?

I'm wondering if this will recover?
Not sure what happened, seemed pinned against her own shell at the top of the rockwool. I've removed shell an propped her up/leaning, I didn't want the pressures of putting a straw over it yet. Super weak an won't stand on her own. Been sitting like dis for two days.
Any hope?

I am brand new to the sight and also a first time grower. I just wanted to respond in hopes you would stay optimistic about the grow. I don't see any harm in allowing a few more days to see if the stem will strengthen. I actually have a plant growing now that was super late to the party. I thought.........Ah......it's just not gonna pop. It's still a runt and has hardly grown any at all but I am giving it chance. The leaves still look green enough, the purple stem could go either way.......genetics possibly? I don't see any harm in allowing it a chance to thrive in the current conditions. Just keep an eye on the growth and the color. If it's not strong it's not strong, but just keep showing that plant some love, stay optimistic, and if it dies.......give her a proper burial.

The stem is rotted, I would spray it with some peroxide and not water for a while. It might die. Also stab a straw or toothpick into the rockwool and use that as a stake to support the plant. If it were soil I would suggest transplanting and placing that part of the stem under the dirt

it may be ok but might be slower then normal if it pulls thhrough

mabey after a week or so and you see if that rot doesnt kill it

try planting it a little deeper new roots should spring out of the stalk

Keep er goin until there's no hope, I've had plants Ive given up on thrive, seeds pop up after throwing them out, so don't lose hope, they will do what they do. Sometimes the ones you think are weak surprise the hell outta yah!

Throw the thing away along with the medium it was growing in, and start over.

Once, I had some seeds I thought didn't germ (temp related as it was early march) and I threw them fuckers out, with most landing just under my back deck.
My local ground is mostly clay.
Imagine my surprise 8 days later when I find 6 seedlings with varying degrees of stretch all trying to start their first leaves. 4 had aphid damage on the cotyledons and developing leaves with ~3.5 inches of stretch, 1 was a perfectly fine midget, and 1 had damped off after 5" of stretch.
I dunked in hot water then transplanted the 5 into (ripped) cubes, burying most of the stretched stems. All seedlings were 1-2" tall in the cubes.
Then I literally BIT off the lower half of the damped-off seedling, clonex-ed it, put it in a cube, and watched it grow. It took 1 extra week to fully root the cube and was 2 leaf sets behind the others.

They ended up stolen at 5-6" though. I had left em in the starter cups though because I ran out of soil, and some were already throwing out pollen sacs (which I had ripped off xD) when they were taken.

Moral is-
They are survivors.

If you have no more seeds and you NEED these plants to live, the peroxide solution is the safest bet. But you could try to clone the bitch.

If you can start over though, you should.
