A mate of mine is trying his second outdoor grow and doesn't know a lot about growing.
Today he tried to tie the plant down trying to train its shape and one of the stems began to snap away from the base of the plant. (snap is probably a bad word. seems to have cracked or split a little bit.) It doesn't look bad to the eye... but what is bad?
I have attached a picture in hope that someone may be able to let me know whether or not they think its gonna survive. The picture is attached to the bottom of this post.
(The branch with the white string around it is the one that began to split away from the base as he was tying it down. If you look closely you can kinda see the crack/split.)
He seems worried about it, and I reckon he would spew if he thought it was gonna die. It's his pride and joy.
Please, any opinion or help would be appreciated. There might even be something he could do to help it heal maybe?
