Will It Survive?

Hi everyone. This plant pictured has been growing pretty much unattended for about a month & a half outside. I'm just curious if it will attempt to regenerate it's missing leaves. Don't have any idea what happened. Not looking for yield - just watching it grow for learning purposes. Came from decent bag seed - started inside for a week. It is getting attacked by insects I know but the stem & the leaf left look healthy. Any pointers on this plant?

The stem appears healthy and the one leaf is vibrant and strong in appearance to me. I am a little unclear on your intentions, do you want bud or just to plant it and see what happens? b/c if you would like the plant to produce then you need to look at getting Pest repelant products(Neem OIL,chicken wire, etc..) in my humble opinion if you do nothing at all and ignore the plant it wont make it in its current position.I am knew but from all I have learned this plant needs TLC and a bit of your sweat, then you are rewarded;-) good luck

It mostly for learning purposes - I have several other outdoor sites - I'm really just trying to find out if it will regenerate or die from this point on considering it is undisturbed. Has anyone ever experienced this?

It was neglected. Let it roll. I wrote off a couple that are killer now.

That parsley or cilantro near it?

Are you trying to learn how to grow ditch weed? I am asking because, what I have heard is , You have to have the correct climate.

Cilantro or Parsley? I have no idea they were just weeds that were alreadythere. How do ditch weed & climate relate? Looks like a indica dominant hybrid to me. What kind of animal could eat those leaves off so carefully without touching the stem? I don't think anyone has been there - no tracks.

Climate and ditch weed work like this. If you live in the north east, you have to indoor grow. Ditch weed is difficult to grow. It rains a lot where I live. It is also still chilly here. So if you are going to try a outdoor grow "unattended" you would need to make sure the weather is favorable for what you are trying to grow. I am new to this but that is my opinion. Good luck on the grow. I hope it lives for you:peace:

This is apparently a difficult question to answer - let me rephrase it - Will This Plant Regenerate Or Just Die? Has anyone ever had a situation like this?

No offense.....That's crap...Mine are sitting in the rain and huge gusts of wind right now . It's about 53 degrees F. It's more the strain...The seeds I'm growing now are a Northern Lights strain ( 1 is brought back from Jamaica ) They are pretty hardy......The thing with plants is it's more a matter of consistency and if be gradual change. Shit it's snowed on my plants with no ill effect..come October they'll be 6ft + about 2.5 - 4 oz. per plant. Some times you spend $500 and fight every inch of the way.....and then plant a rock and get a plant.

Ok, No offense taken. I am new to this. I even said so in the thread. I was meaning what strain too. I know that outdoor growers get better yield. I also know that I moved to a colder climate. I have already had some plants die here. Not weed just normal plants. So sorry to have pissed in your corn flakes. So like I said no offence taken and so sorry to offended you!:peace:

No pissed flakes here friend....It really boils down to "are you standing here" sort of thing.....The on-line thing....the old saying of opinions & assholes....At times we all have and are them............I just thought it looked OK. As I told someone today,
I have trouble giving up on, or killing any plant........

theres a basic rule of thumb, that a plant needs at least like 50% of its leaves to grow and live healthy. yours seems mutilated but still very healthy... chalk it up to good genetics i guess...
