will my plant grow??

i have a single plant in a 8 foot closet under a 200wcfl. i have the door open to let in air and vica versa. i leave one of the closets doors open and have an oscilating fan outside blowing air into the closet. wud this b adequate ventilation. i also leave the windows of my room open so fresh air be coming into th room all the time. is this an ok set up for the veg stage or will i need ome extra fans?????????

That should be fine. Other than me opening the closet door for my plant(pictured) I don't have any air flow. A small fan on the other side of the room nowhere near the closet & my window stays closed most of the time. I'm flowering as you can see & seems to be fine. I'm not saying the airflow is bad, but seems to be more necessary with large grows & light set-ups that produce high heat. You don't want too much because than the plant will think it's in a constant wind storm. Just think your tryin' to imitate nature so occasional breezes is best. I think an oscillating fan close to the closet door is sufficient.

you could use tubing to be more sure air was roughly going from the back of the fan to the window( vice versa) i reckon you need c02 come flowering (from my experience ) i went the hash museum in the dam and saw a plant flowering it ust had a couple of strong fans but it looked like it was in clay pebbles ??

make some c02, water,yeast,sugar in 5 litre bottle,put a hole in lid and plastic fish pump pipe in hole and other end in jar of water,then you shouldnt have a problem

sounds good to me - when i had mine in the closet i didnt even leave the doors open, i just pointed a fan at the crack at the bottom of the doors.

ok thanks guys ill make some co2 so.... its been 11 days since i planted and its still small with only 2 leaves and two tiny ones inside these coming out. the plant is 'euforia'. is this normal or shud it be bigger by this stage??

yea that should be fine. Some plants just take their time at growing. Ive got three cfl's on my plant and its also taking its time. It will soon make a massive growth spurt, just u watch...

sounds a tad slow,how much distance between light and plant.

its only about 2 inches now but for the 1st wk i had it 30 inches above the plant, which i now know must have slowed down the growth, also my intake air was a bit cold which could'nt of helped either

an inch or two is def best or they stretch to hell,pin branches down with sticks and hooks if you have to

ill jus see how it is now for the nxt wk or so. it must of been the cold weather and light been far away that is causing it to grow slowly.it seems to look ok tho besides that.

Cold climate will stunt growth. The light being far away will cause stretching, but shouldn't stunt growth.
