Will SSH be okay outdoors in central CA?

Will Super Silver Haze be okay outdoors in the central California Coast...San Louis Obispo/Paso Robles area? A local said "no" because it takes too long to finish...but the first freeze doesn't usually set in until the beginning of November. White Widow was done in this exact spot 2 years ago without problem, and I believe it is on the "long" finishing side too.

Does SSH really take much longer to finish outdoors...can 2 or 3 weeks really make that much of a difference?

depends . . . . if it only needs an exta 2-3 weeks from the end of september you might have an issue. but you're in central CA so I doubt the frosts come till mid october down there so you should be good.

just be prepared to protect it from a frost or two.
