Will switching HPS lights in floweirng harm plants?

I just got a 1000w HPS setup. I have a 1000w Hortilux bulb with a 6" cooled hood and fan. I'm in my 4th week of flowering I was currently using a 400 watt open reflector (cheap starter system) before. Will switching to a stronger 100w light in the middle of my bloom phase hurt or confuse the plants?

Nope will do great. Just dont place as close to the canopy at first.

Cool I got the hood the highest I can get it its about 14-18in away from my plants.

Plants grew notirceably over night. i added some Gravity. I hopw I get a bigger yield.
