Will this Blackjack plant actually turn black?

I have three Blackjack plants grown from seed right now. I didn't really expect them to produce any buds that were anything close to black in color, though a lot of photos show plants with a dark grayish purple tinge to them. I figured they were just edited or lit in such a way to make it look like that.

However, I have one plant that's starting to make me suspicious that it may indeed have some unique coloring. Its leaves have a sort of mottled coloring thats a darker green than the other plants. They've been like that since the first little leaves showed up, which at first had me worried. But the plant seemed healthy, and is actually the biggest of my plants. Here are a couple pictures of the plant, and one of the same strain next to it.

Has anyone ever seen a blackjack plant with blackish buds, or is the name not actually related to the color of any bud, ever? If it does indeed turn, do you think this might be a plant that would?

its a cross of Black Domina, and either Jack Herer or Jock Horror depending on where you got it from, so thats where the name comes from.
there are pics that float around that show that it is CAPABLE of putting out some blue/purple colors, but from what i can tell its pretty rare to get that pheno to express itself. Smoke report tends to be pretty good though =D
-edit- i would add, that my second grow is Nirvana's BlackJack, and they are a week or 2 from going into the flower chamber. Just waiting on the bagseeds that are almost done to finish and get chopped.
