Will this work for watering plants while on vacation?

I am going on vacation soon for 6 days and i want to buy this gravity irrigation watering kit for my indoor grow (i will be using my own bucket for my reservoir)...http://www.irrigationdirect.com/irri...-water-starter Along with this timer to self water for me

Anyone see anything wrong with any of this?

Where would you use the timer? doesn't it hook up to a reg hose/outside faucet for watering gardens etc using water pressure? I do like the 1st one.. seems like it would work for a week with a big enough res .. would have to figure out drops/min for each plant .. even may have to use a couple of emitters per plant. I know a grower who uses a system like it, but he uses an air pump and a pond pump in his res to help out his emitters.
