Okay so you guys are probably going to tell me to go back to the newb section but anyway... I am a first time grower, Ive never grown before and want to make sure I can do all the right things. Ive been reading for the past two weeks and there is sooooo much different ways and techniques that Im just going to say what Im going to do and you say yes or no lol.... So Im looking to grow outside and Im growing an "Auto Bubblelicious" seed. Im good on the germinating stage. Now when the seeds crack I was told to plant directly into your final pot/medium to limit stunting its growth... but I'm not using a pot, I wanted to plant directly in the ground. Im going to be mixing ""Earthgro 1 cubic foot potting soil"" with ""Espoma PR8 8-quart organic perlite"" 75%-25% or was told to do so. My plan was too dig a hole and fill it with this mix and than proceed too planting the seed. I was told too use plain water to water it until I see the first serrated edged leaves appear and the two round leaves brown and die.

I'm wondering if any of you have ever grown directly in the ground before and if so is there any tips you can give me. Also I'm unsure about feeding. I was told to water it everytime the soil was dry but with me I'll be unsure since its going to be in the ground and not a pot lol,, how will I go about watering/feeding cycle? and what to use to feed it after my first leaves appear, like plain water? or what too mix into it. Im sorry too ask so much and seem so unsure but everyone says something different. "ANY" help will be appreciated, thank you.

better not to put it directly in the ground, since some animals/insects could eat it. put the seed in a small container first, than transplant it in the ground, like when they have 3-4 sets of leaves. and if the soil is good on ur spot, you should use that soil too. use 75% soil from the place, 25% bought soil, works just better outside. u can add some manure or pellets if u want too, perlite is not needed. about watering, a friend of mine, outdoor only grower, said this about watering:''just water em when u have time''. thats about it.

auto flowers dont get very big, do it in a little pot.... it's feb man it's cold out. plus if animals come out, you can elevate your plant
