Will too much nitrogen inhibit bud growth? Fox Farm Trio question

I have a plant in week 3 of flower and i don't see much going on. The only differences I've seen are hairs at every node and clustered, stringy, narrow leaf growth on the tops. I have been using Fox Farm Trio and the chart from the site. They have me using Grow Big all the way till week 6 of flower!!! I thought maybe the plant is confused about what its supposed to be doing. I flushed and used Big Bloom and Tiger Bloom hoping she will get the picture. She has dark green almost purple leaves so I'm not too concerned about slacking off on Nitrogen. Am i on the right track about this or am i way off base?

Sounds good to me man. As long as she's healthy shouldn't be a problem. week 3 is still early in flower, it will start budding like crazy soon

What strain is it? Are you using FF soil also? what type of lighting are u using just wondering

Strain is Purple Bud from White Label
Soil is FFOF
Lighting is 100% CFL 2700k/3500k

She's actually a 12/12 from seed side project. I planted her in a solo cup on New Years day. She's had 12/12 since before she broke soil. She threw hairs on day 20. I was just confused why she wasn't looking more like others 12/12 from seed.

In the flower stage "N" is not required as much as P &K - P& K will help develope your plants buds. Many grower do not use N in flower stage (stages of flower stage -early, middle and late and each require a different NPK

so i am on the right track. ok cool. ill continue to leave out the Nitrogen nute unless i see premature yellowing. If it doesn't yellow till the last couple weeks, i may leave it out all together

I run FFoF soil, and the trio pack on my girls. Growing more of a sativa at the moment and my buds took a bit to really start filling out. So long as you follow the feed chart it shouldnt be an issue with the nutes. You know if your strains a sativa? From everything i've read (and now experienced) those take a lot longer to flower lol.

Nitrogen makes a the plant grow in the veg stage. "N" toxicity presents it's self - the leaves look like a claw and the color of the leaves is a dark green -yellowing has nothing to do with nitrogen "overload"

lol what i meant was I'm not gonna give it more nitrogen unless it yellows early. then i will give more nitrogen.

if thats really 12/12 from seed you have a problem. there should be bud development. at 29 days a photo plant should be well into full bud. you should be worried about how to not have her fall down on you. your cfl lighting seems more than adequate for the single plant under it. there should be more production for the time frame.

i know right? What I'm saying is i think slight Nitrogen toxicity may be hindering bud development. I flushed and I'm gonna quit giving grow big, the nitrogen nute from Fox Farm. Curious to see if she explodes in the next week
