Wood ash for my higher N during Veg?

My thought is going beyond the bottled organic nutes....thinking along the lines of wood ash=N, Bannana=K, Castings and Guano=P...any thoughts?

Wood ash will raise your pH. Too much will create nutrient lockout.

Better read some more. Wood ash has little to no N, the N is burned off in the fire. P and K remain though and wood ash is good for that, along with raising pH.

Blood meal=N
Bone meal=P
Kelp meal=K

Also, like you said, guano's for N+P, very light on the K.

Banana's will work, but you are going to need a boatload to get enough K.

molasses has a pretty good shot of K, and i've supplemented it with a bit of wood ash
good results either way, but the extra K/wood ash didn't seem to increase bud size that i noticed
so just molasses in tea for me

If the growing medium is done right, mine is 25% decomposed cow manure, we're feeding and expanding the microbes in the rhizome with our teas. I also like molasses in my flowering teas.
