world of seeds - Space & barneys farm - Critical Kush

400 hps + 200w 4' 4 bulb HO t5. Vegged about 2.5 weeks. No training or topping.
I believe th two space are the same pheno, supposed to be short flowering time but 16 days in they seem to be very small and far behind the critical kush. I believe I have three phenotypes of critical kush. 2 girls are of one pheno; very little side branches, fat buds and stinky. I'm guessing they are OG pheno. I have one that is extremely full of side branches and thick buds, smells different. Guess that that critical pheno. I have a third that is a runt. Always seems a bit droopy and not a thick of buds.

I'll turn that hps for tomorrow's photo shoot lol. They don't look as pretty in that red light. This is my second run with critical kush, I love it! What an absolutely amazing smoke, very excited for the ladies. I was only thinking I'd get 28g a plant but I think I'll blow pass the 6 zip mark with these 6 ladies. Some of them are real tall, had to use a zip tie to move it to the side lol.

so i couldnt get any good pics with my new camera yet, ikll keep trying though. here are some of the pics prior to this week(day 20).

sorry for the hps, couldn't really get one with natural light and the lighting in the room theyre in sucks.
the first pic is from February 16th and the last one was from march 23rd, more recent than i thought. since ive turned off the t5 and ive just been running my 400hps, they seem to have gotten a noticable amount larger.. maybe the t5 veg light was doing more harm then good. temps are now stable at 74 with just the hps on so im sure its a bit better conditions for them as well, especially the ones closest to the t5. humidity stays at about 30-40% during lights out and for some reason i cant remember what its at with lights on, im sure its close to that range though.
Anyways, tomorrow is day 21, week 3. the critical kush have got some good weight and frost to them already but the space is tiny in comparison. its supposed to be a 6 week strain so im pretty worried right now.. hopefully they really kick now and all the way till harvestm which id assume will be longer then 6 weeks. lets keep our fingers crossed that i can reach 6 ounces, 28g per plant. i know it should be easily achieved but you never know with these girls right.. especially as the two space are so small right now.

The space is coming along in a big way now! its supposed to be a 6 week strain but i kept my t5 veg lights on and i think the mix of the spectrum slowed down their budding process and not the critical kush cause the t5 was right in front of the space. either way, they are looking great now and very dark green! ill post some pics of them soon
all girls just got their third feed last night and im hoping they will get a bit chunkier as well now

i do plan on finding out for myself how much flushing works. the two space girls are both the same pheno so ill flush one and not the other, after dry and cure ill see what kind of difference are in the results and ill be sure to note it for you all here

i wasnt able to find much info on space so i will say, it is just as easy as the critical kush to grow, she does stretch a fair amount in flower but nothing that is beyond ordinary, the smell is incredible and they seem very happy this far. ill keep it all up to date though and we will see how they go

I wanted to share I grew space and it was BOMB with purple stripes! Its a keeper

my space have started off flowering a bit behind but the last week they have put on a lot of weight and almost look like they can catch up to the critical kush but i doubt it.. critical kush really packs on weight with some chunky, chrysal covered buds.
i have extremely high hopes for the space though!
do you have any pictures or advice to share by chance?

I dont have pics. Grew one seed in coco with some sativas, it kept up produced decent but the buds were great. Friend hit the single seed site and shared.

Reminds me of old cali gdp. Lime green buds with purple veins in the buds. Calyx get purple. I would love to have it back

Yeah the yield will not be close to the critical kush but as long as it is good ill be happy. I'm about 4 weeks in now and they seem to be swelling nicely, looking forward to trying these girls out ASAP

Today is day 29 of flower, day 34 of 12/12, got a 600w hps with cooltube running and even with the more powerful light, temps are significantly lower. with the 400w running full blast, temps could reach 84 at times. with a 600watt cooltube running, temps dont reach 75. I also added a 200cfm inline fan(tent is only 32 cubic feet) and carbon filter to the line up.. even decided to pick up some weight gainer for the buds from the same company that makes the rest of my nutes
Very excited for this harvest now; expectations are at an all time high lol.

Day 30 and the ladies got a heavy feed! seem to be enjoying the extra light now as well
the space girls have put on a very noticeable amount of weight in a short period of time! they are long, thin buds but are quite dense already. The critical kush are fat, short buds and are extremely dense.

Ive also noticed this run that although the girls are frosty so far, they dont seem as frosty as last run when i used molasses a few times by now.. maybe molasses really does give the plant a nice boost so im going to add some next watering without the nutes(saturday)
