You're mistaken. Worms will eat detritus (dead stuff) and poop it out as good stuff. They will help keep the soil from becoming compacted and are a good gauge of the health of your garden. Make good fish bait too or if you got a bothersome person you want to get even with, invite them over for a plate of spaghetti, a new organic variety you recently found.

Mt geezer is right they will do no harm. I sometimes look for them after it rains. Might buy a box of live ones at a bait store to dump at my outdoor site. Good question none the less D.
I'm not a worm guy, so i'm just guessing here. But why just a couple, why not ten (or so) in each growbag?
My other thought is, would they survive the watering process? Dumping a gallon of water in the bag, relatively quickly, is a lot more vigorous than rainfall - the soil is, literally, flooded. Would they dig thier way out in time, or would they get drowned out? Or would they just be able to survive those watery conditions until the water passes and oxygen is sucked down into the soil?
