Would 1000w be to hot in 2 x2.4 x 2m grow tent??

Hello would a 1000w light with a adjust a wing reflector be to hot in a 2 x2.4 x 2m grow tent or would it need a cool tube reflector or something similar??[h=1][/h]

I would vent it but no it's not too hot for that size. Many people run 1kW lights in 4'x4'x6.5' tents (vented lights) which is considerably smaller than 2x2.4x2m

you would need good airflow, those big lights will heat up a whole bedroom without fresh air coming in, computer fans probaby wouldn't cut it, you need ducts and a bigger fan

220-440+ CFM inline and a matching carbon filter. 220cfm would be bare minimum.

**220 is bare minimum if venting an aircooled hood. You'll need much larger fans to vent the tent if not using cooled hoods.
