Would HLG 65v2 be enough light to veg plant

Yes, it is made for vegging, clones, etc. I think you are confused with flowering, it’s not the intensity of the light but the on/off duration that triggers flowering. That said if you switch the light to 12 on 12 off, your plants will flower but not well.
No I’m only wanting to use for veg. Got to start a new mother plant and was wondering if this would be enough light to veg under with out it flowering. This will only be used for vegging out plant from seed to grow a mother plant out. I don’t want to flower under this light. I understand the 12 12 flowering process. I’m wanting enough light for veg so that they don’t flower while in veg due to lack of light. This isn’t going to be used for flowering just veg. If there’s not enough light in veg plants will flower and I do not want this. Do you understand

65 watts of led should be good for vegging a mother plant.
I use 60 watts in the attic and 50 watts in built in wardrobe for vegging and clones
I run mine at 24 hours on.
They won't flower while under veg.
I can veg up to Nine plants at a time in the attic with 60 watt of led so one plant would be easy.
My 60 watter light would be more than twice the area of the hlg 65 v2 though at 24" x ~ 14"

Can you show me one single study that states a low level of light will initiate flower? I can not find one instance anywhere other than dropping the duration shorter, not the intensity. I believe you are incorrect sir. Good luck with your grow.
How fast would they grow under this light?

It's a perfect light to use for a single mother using the typical 18 hours on.
Last mothers I kept were under four HLG QB132’s in a 2*4 running a Ming Wei 240 w driver for closer to a year with ZERO issues other than having to keep carving off branches and removing excess roots, I just wanted something else besides more SD...
I kept the pair under 40 watts.

Fast enough for me. I keep them well pruned with plenty of opportunities to take clones.
Would the mother plant grow enough to produce 6 clones every 2 months

When you keep mothers the challenge is to keep them from growing too much and maintaining their health.
You need to cut feed and light back and prune fairy often depending on how much you reduced the inputs.
Needing to remove branches speaks to the amount of growth that routinely stacks up.
I don't know taking two dozen cuts every month would even affect them enough to be a problem.
So a few every month would be no problem.

I threw away at least 400 potential clones today just trimming off three plants. I don’t think that will be a problem.
