Would these things work good for 1st grow?

Well like the title says, im going to start my first grow soon and sadly, i cant get anything online so i had to compromise with normal store bought things but so far i made a list and wanted to know if it would work out good....

Lights: Cfl's (about 4)

Soil: (my biggest worry ) Plain soil, bone-meal, blood-meal, and perlite

Pots: Party cups, 1 gal, 3 or 5 gal,

Extra things: Mylar, y adapters,

and also what kind of nutrients would be good for growing? or would it be good with just the blood and bone-meal and perlite? (i cant buy online so no special things please)

Honestly the 4 cfl's would be good to maintain clones but if your going to flower out a plant with that you won't yield much. You might get like 7 grams off of one plant under 4 regular CFL's if your lucky.

If you have to use CFL's you should use T5's. They are a little more expensive but will work better then regular CFL's.

As for nutrients you could go with foxfarm to start. You don't want to go out and buy expensive nutes like advanced if its your first grow. Start with just the base nutrients. Fox Farm Grow Big. Fox Farm Big Bloom, and Fox Farm Tiger Bloom.

Once you get more experience you can try different/more nutes. But you really need better equipment.

if your growing one plant, you might be spending more money than its worth. how big do you want the plant to be?

Im using CFls and this is my first grow. the CFLs are working great but everyone is right, you will need more light. in the beginning 4 is ok but after like 2weeks you will need more light. make sure your CFls are 6500k those are the best.
the soil sounds good to me but I sont know much about soil, I think you did good .... you didnt buy any with nutes so thats good cus your plants dont need it for the first few weeks.

is the blood an bone already in the dirt ?

either way thats a very good start on dirt ..... i also agree the lights are not enough , but you'll learn that soon. READ READ READ an then read some more.

like kratose said , get fox farm nutes , just the three he mentioned. use the big bloom through the whole cycle to help the dirt get a good structure.
