would 4 24inch 20 watt fluro tubes and 3 40w cfls work for growing 4 plants veg or flowering?

buy a HID light they are about $100, which is a little more than getting all these shitty flourecents

yea probably but i already have that set up so i was just wondering if it would work i got 5 whitewidowXjackherer growing right now bout 15 days any insights?

definitely doable to a certain extent. As long as you keep it confined to a small number of plants. Right now i am using 6 - 24" 20 watt tubes only for two plants, and they are doing incred in veg. in a hydro setup, however more than 3 plants i wouldnt bother
