Wow has anyone ever seen a stem like this?!

Like the title says have you ever seen a stem like this? The stem is completely flat not round like you would expect, quite amazing. The plants are growing incredible and super healthy, albeit a bit dehydrated in the photo as it’s very hot here but just given them some water.

Nice back drop btw. I wouldnt mind having a nice big pool and mountain view in my yard. Sorry that got more of my attention (its hot out).

Why whats the cause of this so called weird stemage?

I dont see anything negative, just some peculiar looking growth of otherwise healthy stem.

Sometimes it happens up top right before flower. Makes the bud look like shit. Like the bud in that pic above.

Otherwise you are right, it wont hurt the plant.

It’s a Polyploid and just seems to be random. I had this happen to my Chocolate Mint OG from HSO. Luckily yours seems to be working well for you. Mine just stopped growing but they were just full of new growth everywhere.

it’s not polyploidy it’s fasciation.
