been a while scince i last posted pics, plants are doing great, the one deformed one is even starting to grow normally if a little slow. also i forgot to post a pioc of the box last time so ill throw that one up too. the first 4 are of the first to sprout, the next 3 are the second to sprout, the third is of the fifth to sprout, the other 3 seeds never germed, may have been sitting too long. that last pic is of my veg box.

a friend of mine and fellow grower sent me a care package of a third t5 strip and 3 reflector kits, and that 3 pack of fox farms nutes i was waiting for. although incomplete hardware made it a pain in the neck to rig the lights in there i finally got it after 30 mins of messing with it. ill start the feeding of grow big with thier next watering, wich should be tomorrow, the plants in my flower box will also get big bloom and tiger bloom with thier next watering.

the little bitches were demanding bigger homes already man, moved them to some 3/4 gal pots i belive, i also cut in about 24 oz of perlite in with about 64 oz of new happy frog soil. plants were a little greener this morning but still too pale on the new growth and yellow on the bottom leaves a little, so i wattered with nutes again while watering them into thier new homes. i snaped some pics of the root systems while i had them out. any comments, tips?

ps, also i had to mount the lights to the under side of the lid to get them high enough, if that dosent stretch the smaller plant then ill just start the seeds in these pots next time around and leave the lights where they are and just add one more for next time arount scince im cutting the veg down to 5 weeks instead of the whole flower cycle of the ones i got in flower.

You know that those 6500k spiral CFL's from Walmart for $6.97 produce 1600 lumens each! I guess I'm still not onboard with the T5's. Just seem dim compared to what I see.

yeah i know. these ones put out 2000 a piece and the reflectors help a ton when compared to a bare cfl or even one of those cone reflectors, when they start making bad ass reflectors for cfls ill start using them for veg, until then thesse things give me 6000 lumens with very low heat in fact i had to put a heater in the room to keep them warm at night. and for summer i have 2 little 4 inch computer case fans that i will be putting in there as soon as i have the power supply to run them, and also a window ac unit that can keep the room as cool as 65 degrees all day long, even on the hottest day.

i countinued my lst regiment with the 2 larger plants and started with the smaller plat, i found a seed in a nug of blueberry kush from the dispeniary the other day. i went ahead and let it soak in a shot glass of starter soulution for 24 hrs by my hps light case to keep it warm and planted it in soil this morning. i took pics a couple times durring leaf adjustment so you can see the difference. let me know what u think, my goal is to make it wrap around the rim of the pot then top it after i complete the rim.

the veg box lights are 6400k spec and the box itself is built out of mezzanite sheeting wich has a white plastic coating on it that is nice, it gives off a nice full color reflection with no hot spots and the lower leaves will actually point to the nearest side of the box when they get covered from the newer leaves. for the tie down strings i use just some nice thin fine yarn, for this i used purple so you can see what direction they are pulling.
