I've been battling some wpm for about the past 2 weeks. I've increased air flow and exhaust. Tried Neem oil and Dr earth fungicide spray. It's not too bad, but keeps coming back in small portions. Am I too late to try sm90 during week 2 of flower? I've heard if I use it during flower, It will give my buds a weird taste.
Any info and advice would be great
Keep your humidity low ( 40% and under )
Keep air circulation high like you are.
Increase air extraction and intake if possible.
Cut or pinch out any wpm.
Tbh if its really, really bad id just count it as a loss.
My climate is heaven for wpm outdoors. I get short, cold, wet seasons.
Ive always found keeping the plant dry, to be the main form of defense.
WPM has a life cycle.
It requires moisture and humidity to grow.
But needs dryness so it dries, and spreads its spores.
Keeping things dry all the time stops spores from attaching to your plants and germinating.
The trick imo is keeping humidity below 60% all the time. No foliar sprays at all. Lots of air replenishment, so theres no stagnant, stale air. Lots of aeration. Ambient temps never below 20'C. Also consistent temps, and humidity every single day. With no large swings, between day / night.
I know my grandmother used to do really wel using 1part whole milk / 10parts water. Then using it as a repellant on her tomatoes. But it has to be whole milk. Something about the fat content.
Some use h2o2 as well.
But personally whenever its gotten into my buds. The easiest thing to do, was remove and destroy.
WPM is a monster. I hate it.
Feel your pain.
Tbh.
I havnt ever had wpm indoors despite my local climate.
Keeping my grow space optimal has helped immensely.
Cant emphasize enough, how much your grow conditions encouraged the pm to grow and spread in the first place.
