Wtaering everyday :| .....

So yeh, im finding that i have to water my baby everyday as the soil is like bone dry by the enxt day. However since this strted happening i don't give it large amounts of water, make sure the excess drains out. Think it'll be okay? I think its because my plant is quite clsoe to the light so the heat from that bakes the soil. But i dnt wanna stretch it. Will this b healthy?

I have a simular prob, Think I used to much perilite. from what Im told its safer to under water than two over water. I am also new and base this on what Ive been told.

As long as you keep it fed & watered you'll be ok,i prefer very loose soil that drys & drains very quickly,if nutrient problems arise or a defeciency in the plant it's much easier to make corrections & the plants respond faster,flushing is easier & more effective also & the roots will receive more oxygen.

And yes,underwatering is better than over watering,if your over watered the roots can become sick & rot very quickly,plus when over watering on a regular basis, as most new grower do, they never let the soil reach a point where its dry again,once the plant starts to look healthy again their right back watering the hell out of it.
