I know of sulphur plasma lights but this thing I posted looks like a purple cfl. :wall:

The video sure makes it seem effective... Then again, I've also seen a few claiming led's can produce weight. Interesting though for sure. Would like to see more.

I was bothered by the way HydroHut advertised this product.

Anyway saw this thread a while back and well today I found the answer.

If you google Induction Lamp you can find them much cheaper.

If purchasing and you can choose your Colors remember:

3500 and less is a Red Color = Budding

4000 and above is a Blueish White = Veg

I found two 40W induction lights through google for the price of that one 50w. And you can get both spectrums. I ordered 2700k and 6500k. About 60 per light.

These lights are good. If you are limited in space, and you are trying to get supplemental light into whatever. Think about it a 50W light that pumps at 150HPS/MH, its only 50W that's like your lamp in your room....Very cool. If even just for vegetative, $150 for a 150W MH/HPS equivalent.
