im i dont know you said condensation forming? How is there condensation forming whats your humidity? That would be my guess it's from water on the leaves' surface. I wouldn't recommend that soil mine got burned from it last season but if you have good experience than w/e works for you.

Yep, leaves look like they had water sitting on them, shake 'em off after watering. Don't worry about the stem, the Lemon Skunk in my sig has the same thing going on.

Yes there is condensation froming. It is forming on the walls of the growbox, not on the leaves. I have a feeling it is because the growbox is next to a cold poorly insulated wall and its warm in the box with moist grow medium.

As far as the merical gro organic potting mix. this is the frist time using it. as well as a frist cfl try. I didnt thint it was looking like a nute burn this happened basicly over night.

I never water the leaves. i water around the stem

Don't worry about the soil, I use MG soil exclusively, but the Organic Choice one. I would just see if the new growth has the same spots, it'll probably snap out out of it soon.

Its a bit more than spotting that would lead me to nute def. i think. the leaves are literly dryed out and crumbly around the edges where they are light. it happened overnight. it seemed super healthy till this morning.

He is using distilled water, which I never use. Tap water that's been sitting in warm light for 24 hours works best for me.

Please help.

After re-reading your original post I saw that you have the light 2" away without a fan. That's way too close for a 150W HPS light, no way it isn't too hot. I keep mine ca 6" away with a big fan blowing across them. But for babies I would say put it about a foot away.

Edit:
My bad that's actually a 150 W equivalent light so it's 42W, not sure how hot they get. Sorry I misread it.

The temp is mild in the grow box. the bulb is not hot to the touch. you can literly hold it.

im perplexed, i wish i had a ph tester.

needs some micro nutrients by the looks of things, like magnesium and phosphorus to be specific Miracle Grow Organic Choice does have a low ph for cannabis, add some wood ash it will raise your ph and provide some phosphorus, magnesium can be provided by Epsom salt 1tsp per gallon epsom salt 2tsp wood ash per gallon water with that for awhile and see if things turn around for you. if you have that 42w cfl 2'' from the plant you doo need a fan blowing through there also.

i went and got a pool PH test kit(may be wasted money, idk) what do you folks think?

i also got some plant food 10.15.10 it says to mix 7 drops to 1 liter. i cut the feed down to 5 drops to start and watered the plants. next i will make a salution of wood ash and i will remember to shake it. how often should a ash feed be used?

thanks for the help
