idk if they eat other bugs like gnats, but Google said they may eat leaves and suck some juices out but are only ever a problem if you have a million of them, idk. i miss gorlok, he was defending my plants from evil spirits

so theyre called leafhoppers... I had like 30 of those little fuckers eating up the leaves on my outdoor white widow crop last summer.. I would try to catch and kill them and I sprayed the plants with Ed Rosenthals zero tolerance herbal pesticide.. That killed them off pretty fast. I just found this bug today on a white widow View attachment 2484777

thats a stink bug. More of a common house pest than a grow room pest. they sneak in every now and then havent figured out if they do damage to our plants yet. Apparently if you squash it it sends out pheromones that attract other stink bugs.

i came here looking to ID a new pest and first thread i look at, there it is.

it's green right?

i found a couple of them sucking on the leaves. they leave brown patches. i also found some silver colored marks which i read was from thrips. i haven't seen those marks for awhile though.

i'm confused but i'll go with leafhopper and see what will kill them.

I found a brown leafhopper on my plant today, it didn't look like it was doing damage to my plants but I have noticed a considerable amount of missing growth that looked like something was chomping on my plants.. will praying mantis eat these things?

Im assuming it was white and not hot pink??? I saw one on my plant today, and had the same reaction, WTF is that. Mine was clear like a lavae or something
