Wtf?

soooo..... my plants are doing somthing weird.... they are starting to get like brown spotted, all over them! and then they die... just the bottom leafs though... its like something is eatting them... but there is nothing there... i even bug bombed my garden and sprayed them for bugs and such.... but still.... nothing!!! i heard it could possibly be MG blocking out alll the nutrients causing them to just eat my leafs on its own... i have no idea. if u really need a picture i can get one. but lets try and figure this out without one please!

Sounds like a problem in your roots. What do the roots look like when you pull them out? Or have you yet? I just had 2 plants die on me in the same manner. I bought black gold soil from my local hardware store and was a nooob about it and never checked pH or anything. They ended up getting root rot. The soil was no good

when you water you want around 10% runoff. It's not flooding the plant, just properly watering it.

But rust spots indicate a calcium or magnesium deficiency.

this is what it looks like... i have maybe 5 leafs like this.... on about 8 plants...... they keep showing up more and more. i normally just pluck them off

yeah looks like a magnesium deficiency add a few tablespoons of epsom salt and it will raise it like 2 tbs per gallon is a normal ratio

def dont have bugs. i had spider mites a bit back, treated it already. bug bombed it did a bunch, plus i know what that looks like.

That looks like thrip damage to me:

Could very well be mites as well, but you say you already dealt with that once? :

This is Mag def:

And this is Calcium Def:

Your's looks nothing like either of these. Check for bugs again man.

...I totally agree! + rep

i see what you are saying. but also if u look at the sticky for plant problems. they have a picture that says MG deficiency, and it looks like mine. its not lighter green where its getting eaten, like spider mites do. its actually turning it a brown color. spider mites just eat through the leafs and cause them to be a liter green. i still spray myplants for spider mites every other week with azamax solution. and also the tops of my plants are looking like the MG one u posted. i was just showing u what the bottom leafs looked like. caz i hear that the older leafs on the plant are the ones that often show the symptoms first.

If you have been treating with azamax the chances of you having bugs are pretty slim to none. Wish you would have mentioned that a little sooner. I love that stuff!

If you think its Mg than get yourself some calmag.

Are you referring to this picture?

If so, thats Manganese. Not Magnesium.
