These leaves are turning yellow on me!!
i havent been giving them high quantities of nutes yet and not that often. as i believe the soil still has some left in. Could this be from over watering because i do give them lots since its very dry where i live (humidity is just shy of 40 %)
Its been vegging since the beggining of october and this is my first grow so i need some help! :P
im also leaving from friday to sunday and and i have to get someone to take care of them but he is a complete newb, so advice would be greatly appreciated so i dont come home to dead plants
thanks all

Hi there, I had a load of yellow leaves during my last grow and it was a real pain. The general rule is that if you see it on the lower leaves, working it's way upwards, it is something that is being absorbed from the roots. If it is a difficiency, it will affect all the leaves. I have been informed by several people that weed plants like only 1/4 to 1/3 of the nutrients that your standard garden plants use this causes a problem as understandably many people like to make sure their babies are growing to the best of their capabilities and give them a little too many nutrients. This coupled with the fact that you do not know exactly what elements are already contained in the soil is a common cause of nutrient burn.

I would say flush the soil through and stop feeding them for a week at least. Annoyingly with plants most people want to see immidiate results, but it will take about 3 days (from my experience) to truly see the results. Oh and don't feed them (make sure your friend doesn't feed them too) for at least 7 days. I hope this helps and I hope this is correct! Good luck

Sounds like Clang80 knows his shit I burned mine bad used full strength nutes as a baby. First grow seemed like a good idea at the time. It took about 4 days after I flushed to look "right" again some of the leaves are still ugly but after a week of only water phd at 6 it is growing like crazy all new growth is green an lush! I added half strength nutes after a week and it took to them like crazy! Hope it helps man

I also read on here that if the leave edges are curling up your plant is getting too much heat and may want to raise the light a little. I can find the link for that one if you want it.
