More light is typically gonna add more yield. If it's your first grow you might get lucky and get 4 oz. dry per plant under a 600 watt.
Sounds about right. Just remember that yield depends on a lot of other factors. It's not all about light. Individual plants of a strain may yiled heavier than others of the same strain even. Calculating yield really is like counting your chickens before they hatch. Best of luck my friend.
yeh you should worry about soil ph, nutes, air flow and pot siZe aswell. I watched a grow vid from greenhouse seed company (the people who devloped white widow amongst others) it showed the white widow veg for about 4 weeks i think then flowered for 9 weeks and it got about 3/4 metre high roughly and it yielded 300grams which is about 10 n a half oZ's but dont expect this as these guys are experts it was done hydroponically monitered very closely but yeh huge yeilds can be reaches if you do it right.
