Yo Yo Hangers

I just got my new light in the mail and it came with 2 of the yo yo lights but I noticed that they only go down 22 inches. The problems is going to be that in the beginning I will have to have the lights lowered well beyond that level. How do most people handle that simply use a longer string or what?

you could just higher the plants put something underneath them and once there bigger put them back on the ground, that's if your in soil might be more difficult with hydro

i only use chains to ensure there is never a failure

Just hang a length of chain between the ceiling and the hangers... When they get taller remove the chains.

id go with MasterHemps solution, prop the plants up till they grow, then remove whatever you have used to sit up higher closer to light.
