Vegging Light Cycle Choice

Yea it was GLR and 9/15 from start that did it. They were flowering too fast, day 9 already flowering buds. Now its more veggy vs reveggy. I did 24/0 for a month ish before flower. So now its got more structure to it and growing to my liking. I read that plants need a rest cycle for many important reasons that relate to my extracts only mothers only grow.

So 18/6 for veg or whatevers closest to nature that well prevents that flowering hormone build up or actual flowering. 12/12 for flower then taper down every few wks ish to 9/15 for last couple wks. To utilize the idea of finishing on time or little faster, saves a little electric too. After all that bulk was produced.

That last run I just teased them with flower schedule GLR them boom, 9/15 hurry tf up! Thats exactly what it did. If it was a consistent effect so you could get more harvests in per year maybe. Its not though, they be doing 8wks, 9wks, 10wks still. Rarely 8 on all clones.

The structure just wasnt right anyway. I got more tip leafs now and just more space filling. I may of loat my pheno tho but flower yield is still there. To where those 5.5 and 5.8oz clones has to be effected by glr and 9/15. Maybe having a proven mother and only clones from that would help with consistency.

Its just, when genetics were fresh enough but limited just unaware of that, you have many blank pages before a toss up happens. What Im saying is I still should if had my pheno when I started glr and still didnt see that consistency. Infact they took longer and 8wks was rare at the time still.

Anyway, the root zone was bountiful its just so well pruned the roots become fine. Fine and well rooted hard to break apart. So its not that either. In short, that never happens with normal light schedules but is creeping into being the norm in my perpetual grow so I stopped it. They just are diverse right now as Im reselecting the mother to only flower clones off that.

Those were a week and half flower about the same as these pics of day 9 flower of the glr 9/15 run. Flowering buds on day 9. Just that alone says a lot. The tips are still growing leaf and stem right now at day 10 doing normal lighting.
