Hey guys i hav been growing cannabis for almost 6 years but recently started growing hybrid strains frm dinafem ....
Right now i m growing moby dick #2 and i m trying out this new method called zero stress training where instead f lst and tying the plants ..i turn the pot horizontal side to make the plant go horizontal eventually ...as shown in the pic ... My question is should i top the plant to branch out or let it grow as it is side ways until i turn the pot back vertical so that it branches out by itself due to axilum hormone distributing evenly once i put the pot back vertical ? ...any feedbacks would help
Ps:- yes my grow room is really bad but still with a 90w :-10(9w led at 2700k)bulbs i harvested 40g frm my previous og kush cbd frm dinafrm frm one plant(poor grow) ..and i m happy wid a small yield sincen i smoke occasionaly..

Cool idea. I hope it doesn't straighten up completely when you right it.
Yeah i hope not ..or else i shall tie it when i flip it..so yeah i dint stress it to bend but to avoid becoming straight i will tie ....but whTs ur suggestion on topping..should i do it or let it b ?

I think that the development of the root system in one direction and then in another - can inhibit the plant. Also,
ground movement, when you turn the pot back, can damage the roots.
It looks like reinventing the wheel, but undoubtedly interesting reinventing :)

Haha well yes reinventing the wheel in a much more humane approach towards our babies ;) ..i hope that the roots dont misbehave :p

Ha. I top 3 times. Get 8 main branches. Then supercrop . Screw tying or laying a plant sideways.

As to the plant bending back after this horizontal training? Count on it.
Damn it..if the plant benda back again when put horizontally..that means when i do that ..thats when i will tie it down so it doesnt bend back up straight

Ok just to keep updated...today my plant is 27days old from the time seed popped out of the soil...and planted the seed 30 days back...i finally decided that i shall top it along with ZST ... ..and this time i shall let it veg a lot more thN i do ....i m growing it in a 3g pot ...do u guys think i can pull of 100g in 90w 2700k led in a 3g pot giving another month of veg time ..so total 60days veg ....or should i veg more...and how long can i veg in a 3g pot .....i hav read that the thumb rule is 1gallon a month...is it for the veg phase rule or for both veg and flower phase....so if i have 3g pot can i veg for three months ?

To b honest earlier on wherr i use to stay in india in the mountains weed was evrywhere groing actuslly like a weed plant so basically i never had to buy weed ..it use to grow in evry backyard lol...hand rub to get manala cream..but unfortunately i shifted to a city so well now i have to do indoor which i am a newbie ....

whats the worst that can happen with fim? you end up with less tops, and its less stressful on the plant, i always fim because the worst that happens is 2 instead of 3-8 tops
Well u r actually right ..the worst that can happen is a bit more f a delay..true..i agree...nxt time its that.. :)

honestly less of a delay, as it is less stressful on the plans and less recovery time. give her a nice boost of nutes or folar after and wam bam shes back to golden.
