Hello, cheberinka. I got a notification that you were following me, I see no reason for that.
Your profile says you're located in Alexandria, VA. My location is close to South Boston, VA.
Hello, I'm happy to meet a fellow Virginian here.
Any site where one can buy polen?

Prep work to receive my pollen, or collect your own? I've sent seeds and pollen to many different countries with no issue, except China. They hate everything

If its not much work send me the list you got, i am interested in what you have

I put some rice grains in the bag and keep it in the freezer. Moisture is your biggest concern. Any humidity will make the pollen non viable. I harvest the pollen at %25 rh. If you just keep it in the freezer you should be good. I'll pm you a list
anybody have any good ideas for a quality scrog net? never used one what should i look for

I've seen chicken wire, hog fencing, everyone seems to go for those elastic ones(but I don't think they're rigid enough) so I built my own. PVC pipe, connectors and line trimmer cord.

I use poly line, sometimes called jet line. It’s commonly used for pulling wire through conduit. Dirt cheap and strong, very little stretch. I have hooks or screws every 3” around a pvc frame, then just back and forth with the line. When harvest time arrives cut or untie the end and pull it out. I try to reuse it as much as possible, but a bucket of 6,500 ft is like $39.00 so it’s more about recycling than cost.

I was just looking at your grow journal. Where are you located? Like what kind of climate? I'm outside of Boston and could not put stuff out as early as you do. I just put my three autoflowers outside yesterday!

Well this year I got a late start so I'm just doing autoflowers. For tomatoes around here, they say you should plant them around memorial day - which is end of May. We have had some freezing nights in May.

I did put out the Frisian Dew too early. I had it out at the end of April:

Going forward I will probably be planting indoors in May and moving outdoors in late May. I didn't gain anything by putting them outside in late April or early May. Temps too low, the sun too weak.

I keep mine inside until it gets too smelly - which is a little smelly. Then I put them out. I only got started with the autoflowers in late May so they just went outside a couple of days ago.
