Is it arrest proof yourself? I've seen that man makes a lot of sence its just the difference in police tech in different countries that makes me wonder. You can never be sure who's telling the truth ya know?

ITS NOT ARREST PROOF, n it never will be till its 100% legal but its safer than going out to buy it....were In Ireland mate, shades have better things to be doing than looking for a stoners plants lol like i said once ur not dealing n talking up mouth off (that's why we come here) ur fine.im a noob myself n i feel pretty fecking safe! Im not killing, raping stealing..just growing a lil pot n tbh I've been ultra clean whilst growing lol no stupid shit being done here! Think 2 of the guys were in their late teens n the eldest early 30s so a bunch of loose lips by the sounds of it. You live in a city? That's where the choppers would be n mate, lots of heat off houses so seriously no need to worry U can get a lil electronic heater that shoots out 400w so heat sigs are easily dismissed n 4 is grandnot saying u wouldn't get caught but if u don't talk or deal u should be fine. I use to be paranoid then I read this thread n between ppl growing n sheds n choppers going over n nothing happening n bigger grows than mine (5 at the moment but that's b4 sexing) going on successfully to this day there ain't much to fret over.

Yep city man , there's probly 100s of people growing in my area an I'm here stuck for a J its a bad night ha. Yea this thread has eased my mind a lot its pretty much the only one I've been researching

Mate, I've been all over the interwebz n out of everything I've seen this thread really put me to ease n everyone here will help U out BUT lots of questions are asked over n over so check out as many grow journals (complete) in relation to the setup U wanna try n the noob sections before U start ur setup mate, I've been reading 11+months now n there is still soooooooooo much to learn but as stated above the lads here are spot on so anything U don't get this room will help! The growing community is very friendly n helpful so ur gonna love it bud...a word of advice...growing is fucking addictive lol imma grow spuds n all when the weather improves lol

I've seen a lot in the news over the past few months about large grow houses being raided with over 800 plants or more in them, but never hear anything about small house grows which are discovered.(All in ireland I mean). Is this down to the garda not being bothered to clamp down on small grows due to the cost of raiding such a small, few plant grow? Or do we just never hear about it? Does anyone have actual problems with garda coming to their door or know of anyone? Because honestly its as if they don't exsist according to irish news. Just something on my mind haha

Hello @Phychic. I know of 2 small grow's caught out in the past year. Both grow's were uncovered when the cops were in the house on unrelated business. It's like R31@X says. It's important to keep your nose clean and head down. In both case's though the cop's said they would be back at some point and if the grow kit was still there they would be done for it. Obviously the grow kit disappeared pretty fast.
There have been a couple of bigger raids around here too but these were big full house op's. When I was reading the part of the thread about the 4 lad's being done, my first thought was...did they really need four people?...and my second thought was....I bet it was one of the 2 18 year olds that caused the bust!
I dont mean any offence to younger people, I just know when I was at that age I hadn't a clue when to shut up.
At the end of the day you can drive yourself cracked with the paranoia. Being paranoid just sucks the fun out of growing and smoking. These days I just try to keep it simple, talk to no one except on a forum, and not do anything stupid.

Thats it man isn't it, all about the reading, funny enough its the only subject I can read about and enjoy. I've been reading the past year myself every single day and I'm still not prepared to satisfaction which is why I have only start getting supplies now haha, yea I know what u mean , the whole bringing your own plant to live thing is very addictive with every plant but the rewards you collect at the end of a stinky grow would top that I would think haha I like the way everything is discussed in this thread rather that sectioned off into catagories. I will deffo be comin here for most of my questions anyway.

When u say small do u mean 1 person growing about 2-3 plants? That's pretty sound they didn't take the set up and then in fairness I would count myself lucky. I know what u mean about the younger people but I'm late teens and have had people 40 and 50 come up to me on nights out and start telling me about how many plants they have at home and asking to grow with others they don't know in the slightest. Its all about the head you have on your shoulders not your age. Even tho wisdom comes with age

Same as buddy cant stop now lol I bought mine bit by bit n changed alot along the way n I still wanna improve my setup more (veg tent n flower) but im pleased for now, got my babies n their flourishing! This threads probably the most welcoming n that's how it should be, English threads a laugh 2...they talk shit just as much as we do but at the end of the day U cant talk about pot for only so long so random chats keeps it fun.

I use a tent (U can get cheap ones ) but if U don't have it likw gary said..white paints grand or even go to a car shop n buy that reflective stuff for the cars windscreen...think its in Argos 2...where U you going to be growing n what?

That's what I want to do saves the hassle,but the walls are in very bad condition and I would need to plaster before I paint. Is there any method or any tips for preventing the heat traps?

So it the insulation no use then? Its reflective aswell. Il be growing in a wardrobe with only autos I'm thinking. Its a built in wardrobe so the walls are of the actual house and are in bad condition

no need to plaster, just couple of coats of matt white, stay away from semi and glossy finishs..

if you don`t own the gaff just paint the walls white, the insulation will get your temps up too much, thats depending on your light and extraction tho, have you planned what your going to use in that area?...


also is is poly iso insulation? the foam stuff...

Yep.....they were both doing 2-3 plants in small grow.
And as for the age thing your right. Guess me old man gene's are kicking in.

Ahoy bud,alls great OG kush is a fucking beast at the moment place is getting really stinky haha nothing mate gf b'day is this week 2 so after I get her hair done for her n all that crack im broke again, couldn't even afford smoke this week had to get the legal stuff.how about U, going off the rails for the new year or U being an old timer like myself?
