That's a serious downer. Water and electricity.....shudder......my worst phobia. Fair play on getting the sparkie in though. I wired an MCB in my first grow shed. Thought I was great. Turns out I had wired it all from the cooker circuit instead of the socket line. Not sure about the physic's of it all but basically I think it meant that my jumpers couldnt even "see" the phase of the power going through so they never would have tripped. Lucky escape man.
Shame about the 2 ceilings. Didnt you say you were going to be doing fuck all kitchen renovations this time? Guess you werent touching wood at the time.
hahahahahah got fucked again on the kitchen hahahahaha.... yeah the wireing of them bad boys is just something i wouldn`t dare touch, wireing a socket of another as you i would do no hasstle, but the major components need a pro, better safe than sorry there, and i`ve had the same guy wire the shed last year to its own rcd, so never trip with the house as its own stand alone loop, also if that goes it won`t affect the house...
the water in the conduit was scary tho, shows the state of the place is in, its ok looks wise but its a 1950`s house at the end of the day so theres lots to catch up on just yet, plastering flooring the works and its going to take years to get it how i want, just like the last place hahahahaha....
