Wolf .223, Remington 180gr 30.06 He'll give me the Rem for the Wolf

I'm inclined to accept

You`re getting the better of the deal. His gun can be full auto,... unless you have a 1st Model M-16 or Garand.... Yours is not, but you have penetration power.

here im michgian I can get 556 or 223. or my fav 762 rounds more cheap then the 22 long. I seen 1000 rounds of 762 with a ammo can 100 bucks I bought every last one they had , fucking .22 longs are stupid. 150 dollars for 500

You shoot a rabbit, squirrel, or fox with anything bigger than a .22, when you hit it,...you wont find it. The .22 has uses.

Once I came close to buying a Dragunov ...

Had a 91/30 PU for more than a minute. I preferred my retooled 91/30 (Triangle/Arrow) thing was accurate, and never had a problem with it. I like bolt action rifles, never like my brother's SKS or AK74. Did like shooting the M1, but hated the accuracy.

I wouldn't trade, not because I think it is or isn't a good deal but because I think you should have all the ammo you can store.

Must have been something wrong with the M-1 or you were smoked up. I prefer lever action .30/Cal. They never run out of ammo,...until you do !i

Probably a user error more than anything. I was very very used to my bolt action 91/30s. At the range, we were all swappin' rifles. It was fun! It wasn't my cup of tea -- that whole accuracy thing.

The 91/30, the weapon showcased in the movie "Enemy At The Gates."

Yuh; my SKS was a mechanized slingshot. My bolt guns were all quite accurate. I'll say the one surprise of the guns i had was my DPMS AR with heavy barrel and chambered .223. It shot moa 10-shot groups all day long with the full spread of bullet weights, loads and powders. All one-inch groups, not more or less with any loading i tried!

That`s the best fun at a range and rare too. Most people are "don`t touch snobs" !i

I figgered. I have a pre 64 Model 70 in '06, and an AR. I use the Wolf ammo as plinkin material only. He recently bought an AR and wants a quantity of ammo to play with; I want more '06

I've got plenty of .223 and can replace the 2K; its harder to find a quantity of '06 at a good price and quality....the guy just wants to play with his toy now. I figger its a win-win

The vibe at the range can be funny....I'm not one for expensive fancy targets for example.....I used to show up in the fall with boxes of apples....had 2 trees and after so many pies, hooch and deer bait there was always still an abundance to run over with the lawn mower.....so I took them to the range often...... got some strange looks for that at first every time.....after the second "all clear" of everyone going down range everyone always wants an apple to shoot at.....good times.

Just clarifying -- your username, is it a reference to riding chainsaws, or ... rapid firing?
