The room, is 2x4x8. Mylar coating in the room at 2x4x6, 440CFM Inline Carbon filter, 2 humidifiers (one cool, one hot) ionizer (being used as a tower fan). Nutrients are Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow A&B, Sensi Bloom A&B, and the Hobbyist Level Kit. 2 weeks old bag seed, she is currently 5 1/4" tall, 18/6 under 150W HPS, going HPS through both Veg and Flower because I do not have the money at the moment to buy an MH/CFL/T5/etc. Just want a general idea on how you guys think she is doing for 2 weeks. thanks!

Well I guess when I ask for "advice" it's more like a "hey, take a look at this, do you see anything I should change in anyway, that is possible to be changed, or does everything seem like it should be fine?" :). But yes, that's pretty much what I was looking for.

Cmon guys, 150 views no replies? Need some advice here! Thanks!
Hey man...Welcome to RIU :bigjoint:...my advice is never plant in ceramic pots or anything that's not flexible :wall:...it makes it harder to transplant cuz you have to dig it out instead of squeezing the sides and letting it slide out, it's much less stressful to your girls...other than that it looks good...IMO I would wait till she asked for food before feeding it...remember LESS IS MORE...good luck man, keep us posted :-P

I've also been noticing a little bit of an issue with drainage on the ceramic, but unfortunately its the largest pot I have available other than some 440mL plastic planters, which I figured would be a little small for root development. I'm hoping to transplant into a 5 gallon planter sometime next week, because she was just transplanted into that ceramic container about 3 days ago.

I have been overly nice to her being it's my first lol, I know it's not necessarily a good thing. I tend to mistake heat stress for under-watering and end up drowning her for a few hours, I've had this issue twice now, so I'm learning from my mistake. :). As for nute feed schedule, I'm very strict on her diet when it comes to that. I had a rather long convo with an Advanced Nutrient specialist for about an hour going over feed schedules for soil, extended veg times, etc etc.

I do appreciate your input, and any and all else would be greatly appreciated!

Lol, yeah, that was the last bit of soil I had left, gotta go get more, but didn't want to waste it in that pot, I figured I would save it for when I transplanted into the larger container :)

As above, but looks fine for two weeks in soil. I probably would have stuck at least 2 plants in that size space just for more chances at getting a fem plant. Other than that cant say much more than what has been said

It's not the ceramic, it's the lack off perlite...I mix my soil and perlite 50/50 for awesome drainage, but I have to water/feed every other day.................and you don't want to move to that big of a planter IMO, cuz the roots will have to fill the pot before you notice much growth again...I move mine from cups to 1 gal to 3 gal to 5 gal to 10 gal...it seems to work better for me..................and you really don't want to talk to someone about nutes that sells them, cuz they're gona get you to use way more than you need so you will come back for more!!...(usually)...you will learn to read your plants, when they're hungry, when they're too hot or too cold, when they want to be transplanted...it just takes time, I've been growing MJ for about a year now, and I'm still learnin' but, I think I'm getting it just fine.............
..........what do you think of my last grow???

Looks great! You're up in the size I eventually want to get to. Are you SCROGing/SOGing?

I was thinking of doing a 50/50 Soil/Perlite, but every time I see Perlite used in application to this is usually in hydro. Eventually I would like to have a liquid feed drip system set up, but that's going to be a while.

Thanks and no SCROG...just 30 plants topped once under 4,000w of HIDs...

That's the idea (hydro) my set up is not hydro but, works like it...I get fresh air and food to them every other day so they grow faster...

Gotcha! That's not a bad idea! 30 Plants that's a lot! So you're getting roughly 150W per plant, which is where I'm at with my one. How long do you typically veg for, and what's your average yield? Also what kind of plants do you typically grow? (Auto's or Regular Indica/Sativa)
