true to nature..corporations have found ways to "game" the system..i plan on reporting the following violations to insurance commissioner, debbie wasserman-schultz and president obama..if you have any experiences in which you believe you are being discriminated, please post..i'm bringing it all:

  1. BC/BS cookies direct you to their website and encourage you to choose from their policies and "checkout" at marketplace
  2. no ability to choose PCP when signing up through Coventry
  3. Coventry customer service number on ID card is marketplace number
  4. Coventry segregates it members from marketplace issued policies through "special icons" (this comes from an unidentified rep who believes they are discriminating)
  5. Coventry providers list has been altered from the time coverage was issued to present

i'm going to also bring canndo's complaint of provider group on non-marketplace provider list and absent from marketplace provider list same policy.

let me know if you've experienced any "suspect" issues and i'll bring those too..

Blue cross makes it's page appear to offer exhange plans to the point that it shows government subsidy amounts if you hover over certain areas.

I am still interogated about my health condtions when attempting to purchase an out of exchange plan (Cigna).

And why the HELL are the networks so different between, say a silver exchange plan from Blue Shield, and an individual plan from the same company, costing the same amount in premiums? I can't get an answer.

canndo - that is a violation. period..they should not be asking any health info and i'm going to collect this and forward on..the only way this is going to change is by leaning forward and getting involved.

PS..i would not give them any health info and choose the policy from the exchange by cigna..then create war over the different provider list..my provider list is now different than what i viewed, too.

EDIT: poor, poor big corporate what to do? what to do?..we know "loopholes"..

I have been trying since November to sign up for healthcare in Colorado. So fun to be a responsible adult who had healthcare and wants healthcare and not be able to get the system to work. Have placed maybe 20 calls to the Colorado call center where you don't get to speak to anyone, just leave messages for them to call you back. Would be so great if someone actually called me back. I just need a subsidy code number of some sort and I can complete my registration. So great to need a government hand out for something I could afford perfectly well before all this.

Thanks Obama!

You could just sue the government... Oh wait...

Looks like you are totally fucked. No appeal, nobody to sue, no action that you can take that would make any difference.

Obamanation...

I don't think Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Barack are on the tech team.

No but I do think they discuss and plan together how they'll spin the rhetoric.

Yes, both sides do it. Doesn't make it right for either.

But people like Sky eat it up and believe that now that the website is working, all problems are due to the evil insurance companies and the government is obviously blameless... LOL!!!

What do you do against brainwashed people? She is going to get her free shit or she is going to blame it on the evil insurance companies. And it continues on and on and on...

Surprised?

no, not surprised at all, it's either the corporate greed or republicans. Not sure which, maybe both. All I know is the dems are righteous and the world we be perfect if we could just take a little more money from people.

take a little more from "people"? Which people?

The ones that you deem have "too much".

Seriously canndo, I think most liberals have good hearts and intentions. but when it comes solutions, I have yet to see any that doesn't involve taking from others.

This is a character flaw I can't get behind. The petty jealousy and envy comes through when discussing things like taxes.

And the politicians pass tax laws in favor of the rich and then cry that the rich have it easy... Round and round.

are you using marketplace or does colo have it's own?

oh..but they are so true to themselves..locked down and regulated and still..still *schuylaar is shaking her head

Don't forget those powers given to the big conglomerates of healthcare were negotiated behind closed doors against the promises made.
