New to LED. first time grower.

Just found a way for shipping Area-51 to isral even though they don't ship worldwide. there's that company Buy2usa. that have USA adress and can ship to isreal. so it's freaking awesome.
if you guys have to choose between Area-51 to Hans pannels, which one will you go with?

For your budget and tent I'd go with A51... but it depends on how you grow. Is it a perpetual thing? Will the plants have different height/age? If not, then Area51. If different plants height, then I'd say go with Hans...

2 Hans panels - 450$ - covers at best 60x100 cm or 120x50 cm
Area51 - 575$ - covers 90x90 cm and has better light penetration.

Or you can buy 3 Hans panels for 630$...

as you can see there's that guy who have grwon Amnesia. that starin yield is about 400-500g/m2 and that guy only got 195 Gram of Amnesia with 2 Hans panels.
but i seen a really good reviwes\yields from the Area-51. i think i will get the new GSX 190. it's about 710$ including shipping and taxes. or i might have a better yield with 3 hans pannels ?
sorry if im to complicated. i've been working hard to get that money so don't want to waste it.

What's the problem about shipping to Israel?

Make sure it's not an Israeli customs rule or something....
You don't want to spend all that time and sheckles only for your LED's to end up being locked in a Tel Aviv warehouse for the next 5 years.

Not every company ships out to isreal. and if they are, the shipping costs is way to high.
and there's none problem getting LED lights into isreal , i got many friend who have got their LED online. the only thing they have to pay like extra 100$ for the custom. that's aint a problem when it comes to quallity.
and yeah, been at Goa also a year ago. such a butifull place. although i didn't went to military. and you can bet raves in isreal is CRAZY!

so guys i'm waiting for Jeff repley from Area51. hopefully we can work it out. in the "worst" case i will find myself getting Hans pannels. alredy talked with bonasi about shipping and all. and it's all good.

So I guess you have only one tent, and you will use it first for veg and then flo. In that case, since you will not be adding new plants each month (to have a perpetual harvest), and its the same strain, you dont really need to have multiple panels at different height. If you plan on one tent only, then get Area 51. If you want 2 tents and split your lights betwen the two, like 1 panel in veg tent and 2 panels in flo tent, then get 3 Hans. I think personnally the results with Hans panels are impressive, remember that 2 panels covers 1/2 square meter, so its normal that the yield is "only" 190 gr. And they are 56 watts panels...

In your case, 1 tent, same strain, go for Area51.

Hmmmmmm........so 195 grams dry from 130 Watts is not impressive to you?! its your first grow and your going to have a rude awakening on how difficult it is just to get 1gpw on any panel you choose.

Fyi those^^ breeder weights per meter are inflated/mostly inaccurate........ just like those 47 day flowering strains......lol

so that's what you ment when saying prepetual. didn't get you till know. yeah i do have only one tent and will be using it first to veg and then flo. and then again. you gotta start from something. and this my first set up. so gotta keep it simple at the moment.

the reason i got myself Flowerbomb kush is all about it's yields. the breeders (greenhouse) keep saying it's 800-1000g if you grow with 1000w. 1x1 meter. so you saying that i should foregt about that amounts of yield?
also good to know that breeder weights are mostly inaccurate.

Hey guys,i was thinking i should let you know what going in my head. so after i couldn't get myself Area-51. Hans Panel is the only LED lighting i could get at the moment. ( it's prices is affordable including shipping ).
but i thought about it hard. since it's my first grow ever. and u guys will "hate" me for saying that, but shouldn't i go with HPS\HM for the first time? to get some growing expirence first. before moving to LED and Invest such amount of money

my last question would be. does 2 . 80W Hans pannels will do a better job of 600w Hortilux HM+HPS ? .

the advantages to LED growing as of now are heat, and lifetime
in the future, i see the GPW getting better and better, it has been

but from what i've read, i thought watt for watt HID was still ahead a little
then comes bulb replacements, and heat output

alot of growers use HID during the cold, winter months, and LED during the hot summers , to put things in perspective

in the beginning LED lights were finicky, a few could go out, quality being a concern
i don't know how long the diodes last, but i think they have a much longer lifetime with less efficiency loss than an HPS or MH

if you wanted you could get the hps or MH and do a DIY LED light panel , and add it in or something , just another thought.

what about dawgs last yield. he hit around 1 gpw. 310 watts of led. that sure ties a 600w hps. most can only hit a half p with a 600w. 600-700 watts of led can match a 1000 watts sooo....

Most skilled hid growers can get close to 1gpw with a 600w......most efficient size as you know. 550-600 grams dry are not obtainable with 320 Watts of leds ATM........2 Apache at 200 might make over 500g in the hand of an awesome grower with a dialed in environment & co2 enrichment.......very had numbers to get though

I don't know no Grower that gets a half pound off a 600. Maybe a newbie but a grower is getting more like a pound easy.
I flower 8 plants under my 600 and get 2 zips a plant easy.

my point with that. for example a master kush of same age will only pull a zip where a haze or skunk will pull 4-5 times what the mk pulls. I got 2 lbs of 9 hindu skunk plants under a 1000w. but only pulled half p off same age and number of master kush. with same strain imo led or induction of half the wattage or slightly more than half of hps will match the yield of hps. with top quality led of course

Haha, All dem mollies !!! and i was about to ask you then what the benifets of LED over HID but the guy under has it all coverd .

i was actually thougt the LED has much better yield and THC production.
well just got myself some 600w Hortilux HPS\HM for my start. when i'll have enough money i'll get myself LED also and cheak it out how things are going. don't hate for that lol
