hi all there,i am new to the forum.I am 19 years old and i live in albania.I am starting to build a growing room, i need help on lights, strains, how many plants,etc....
here is what i have: 6 meter square room,2 400 watt mh lamps and 10 85 watt cfl's that i will use for side lightning,a big fan to cool the room ,and 2 pc fans for the mh's.
i think my room is kinda too big? also how many plants can i put here and what yield should i expect ? i think of some pineapple express, super lemon haze, nyc diesel,og kush,i want at least 6 different strains.Sorry for my english :)

your room is large but you can keep it one corner and expand as required.
MH and CFL's are great for veg but HPS is preferred for flowering
You may want to consider HPS bulbs when your plants are flowering
Dr. Jekyll

Can't predict yield yet, as there are way too many factors
Your English is better than most raised in the UK or USA

two 400 MH and ten 85 watt CFL is lots for the veg stage, you should be able to grow a jungle with that much horsepower
Dr. Jekyll

How many plants are you going to grow, how much yield do you want to obtain?

bro about .5 g watt or something would be a reasonable target so seriously if you were running 1000w then 500g but just try to keep them healthy first time and the buds will come. Don't worry so much about yield bud.

I was thinking of 12 but the plant # isn't my problem, I wanted at least 1kg or more if possible, I think I'll grow them normal on soil, no sog lst defoliation as it's my first time and I want to get a bit more familiar.i know that 1 kg looks weird as I am a first timer but what setup, and how many plants should I need to reach my goal on next grows?

so with 1650 watts you might not quite hit a kg especially with no lst (I would recommend lst just do research its not difficult)

to hit kg from all ive seen and read it takes 2- 1k watt hps or 4- 600w hps adn with no scrog or lst or fim. expect 1 oz per plant max so 40 plants maybe 45 to make sure. i would FIM 1 time. i might be able to get 40 plants under 2 600's using the middle space also since will cross cover each other.

Thanks for the reply , but can i use all the room that is 6 meters square, if yes how many plants?
I have a 1-2 x 1.2m (1.44m3)
and a 2.4 x 1.2 (2.88m3)
In the 2.88m3 I get 18 plants in 18lt pots
(2 x Wilma BIG 9 systems).

It would be helpful if you posted the exact dimensions of the space,
Is it 1 x 6m 9 or 2 x 3m ????

If it is quite square you'll need a walkway down the middle - or you'll not be able to reach half the plants.
Even in my 1.2 x 1.2 getting the plants at the back isn't easy.

If you're a beginner - which I assume you are, from the nature of your questions, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND you starting with a MUCH SMALLER area.
Double up on size (and wattage) every crop BUT START SMALL.
There's a lot more to this than you'd believe - And a lot of very different things that can go wrong.
Start with 1.2 x 1.2m, a 600w (or a 1000w dimmable used on the 600w seting - you can increase later)
