Many Small VS Few Big HELP ME! My plant is stretching....

Okay, im about to order some new CFL's. I am 100% shure that HPS or MH is nothing for me! Its simply too dangerous in my environment. It has nothing with money to do! I currently have the budget to buy 3 of some of the biggest HPS setups. However, i am not going to spend that much on ONE Plant!!!

Now, LED feels like a total disaster. I am looking for something that will do on my Single plant and the ones that actually seem to work are about 200£ and up.

Shall i buy many small or 2 big ones? Im talking about 50/50 Vegging/flowering lights. I am going to buy from Amazon[UK].

Could you guys recommend me a setup that would work? pref about 45£. I do only have one plant and i plan to keep it that way. Maximum i can have in the room is 2 plants. The wattage can not exceed 250W as it wouldnt be economical with more on onea plant.


Please... help me! My plant is stretching as i speak. Even made a homemade LEDlight with some whites. I seemt o have bought the wrong CFLs. Sadly i read that you could use either spectrum on both vegging and flowering -.- pff.... sucks

Right now im using 1x23W 2.500K CFLs along with 40LED 3W in total. I have 3x23w 2.500k but can only use one for now

Go with a bunch of smaller ones instead of a few big....stay in the 23 to 26 watt range...actual watts not equivalent

Oh yeah, and keep them close to your plants - like within 1 to 2 inches

U think 3x2.500k 23w and 2x 6.500k 23w will work on my single plant ? i got reflector aswell. Thanks, peace

For one plant that should be enough as long as the are placed close to the plant and spaced to give the best penetration.

BTW Spaacecowboy! Do you use a cardboardbox to grow in? haha, because i did one last night. Really quick. I must say, its perfectly hidden to the eye but its not really.... smell free

Lol, I have the same setup; just waiting for some mylar to make it more reflective. I have x2 125w cfls 5500k and will be adding about 105w 2700k cfl for early flowering in about 10 days. (No F.I.M OR Topping as I haven't got any time) Will be doing some autos in April (2 weeks indoor and the rest outdoor)

That is amazing Tell me! What strain are you growing? This is my first time trying this! Got some random seed from Nirvana. Indoor use though ofcourse, but it was a seedmix! Personally im growing everything indoors as its well below 0F outside.

Got any tips to share? ^^ What soil are u using? Personally im using Compost along with Pine Bark. btw, got some mylar and it works like a charm. I know, because when i stick my head into my big box all i can see for 3 minutes is white dots.

Been smoking like 50 times maybe. Growing because its hard to get this stuff out on the country. Smoked good weed maybe 5 times out of those 50. Would be awesome to get an entire Jar Some guys seem to not care about vegging and they go for 10 grams. haha, poor guys. 2-3 weeks more and they get 100.

Im not afraid from the smell that will get through the cardboard, all im afraid of is if someone looks at what ive been ordering online since the past days x)

Right now if I was to rub my fingers on the leaves of the plants I get the smell of actual bud on my fingers which is awesome but at the same time I'm thinking 'how the hell does that work?'
