I'm not sure if i should be worried as i saw this little fucker in the grow room. It flew onto one of my pots. If any of you know what this bug is or what kind of affect it can have on a crop please share your info. looks kind of like a mosquito but it is the middle of the winter here.

Sure looks like a fungus gnat to me.

Especially considering it's winter.
The gnats don't do much except lay eggs, they LOVE rockwool.
The maggots will kill your plants by eating the roots.
Mosquito dunks will mess with the maggots, I also used Azatrol and H202 against them.
Pyrethrins will knock down the adults, there's also Schultz's Fungus Gnat Spray (resmethrin 0.25% and tetramethrin 0.25%).

That does look kinda like a gnat, but is a mosquito. As they are very similar in appearance, but that "straw" coming out of its mouth, is the tell tale sigh of a mosquito!
