Depends if it's indica or sativa, a sativa wont start flowering til mid feb on average. If it's indica then it will probably a mini plant because they usually flower mid to late january.
It also depends where you live too, it will finish off later because it's a seed and they take awhile to become mature enough to flower.
Anywhere north of Tauranga or BOP grows til may easily.

all your ducting carbon filter and ducting for $250 so $100 left
then i would just grab a pot for about $5 a bag of coco for $30 and some house and garden base nutes for about $35 and if you have enough left over get a PH pen. if not some PH drops will get you out of trouble.
thats all you will need for an awesome grow.
you wont need a tent but you will need to line your little space and make sure its light proof. builders sarking works well and its cheap if not free. its that silver stuff that goes between walls and shit that builders use its easy to come by.

Damn your lowest is 10 that's real good. That was our lowest until a week or two ago, we got down to 5.3 last night! Its warm tonight though, its 14 degrees as of now 11:30 p.m'ish which is a real sudden change from last nights 5.3. Had a primo day today though got to 25 - 26 with 0 wind what so ever and heading for a solid 27 tomorrow. Your not far of your average temps then ae only .2. I doubt whakatane has 300 more hours than you guys that doesn't seem as realistic, but you guys must grow mad ganja up there, I dont really know how good our outdoors is down here because I haven't smoked alot of it and cant really compare it to other placeses.
Cheers, yea bro guess well have to wait and see to determine indica or sativa dom. Do hashplants smell kind of earthy, natural and unique? Never smelt one haha Thats kinda cool how the Malawi has sort of a signature scent! Looking forward to everyone's flowering, especially those monster panamas

Yeah 10 is still pretty low for january, holy hell bro you guys got down to 3.7 degrees last night! - second coldest in the country lol. even in winter our temps don't usually get that low.
Well last year whakatane was disqualified because it wasn't reading right, I'd say 100=150 hours more at the most. pretty stocked with anything over 2,400 though.
2013 was NZ's 3rd warmest year since 1909. I don't really know any decent growers up here, I've never had outstanding ganja here but that would be down to genetics. The outskirts of Tauranga have better outdoors I reckon like Te Puke. There's a Local tauranga strain that has 2 phenos that I ran into.
Indicas are hard to describe bro, I had a pink afghani that had a deep pungent 'sweet' earth smell. you described hashplants in general "kind of earth, natural and unique" but each different one has different aroma, inidcas have the most out of it aromas that are too hard to describe. Sativa on the other hand are so much easier except Malawi lol.
Those Panama are going to be delicious,flavoursome hashplants and the Malawis are going to be rugged potent africans.
Today I went for a walk in the area that I grow but didn't go to my plants, instead I stumbled upon 45+ plants 10 mins away!!
They're about 1-2.5 weeks into flowering depending on pheno
This is the main Tauranga strain, the indica phenotype. Amazing scent and it has pink stems and stigmas.
The more sativa pheno 1-2 weeks i'd say.
It's amazing what you can find when you do a bit adventuring.
not the best grower though, no protection,no potting mix and by the look of it no nutrients either - also they were planted in the middle if the 4wd track(hasn't been used for yonks though)
I might pollinate the pink/red pheno though - local strains are good for breeding. Looks like they just did a spur of the moment rushed plantation this year, 8-14 inch plants - amazing stealth if you can barely notice them, only a smoker or grower would notice them if they were really looking. I only noticed them because I bent down to tuck a shoe lace in.
JTW - That kushberry will be stronger than the frisian I reckon, looking nice though mate - am I the only one without any plants flowering? ha

Hi all. I'm wondering if anyone could give me a bit of advice. I have an outdoor plant which is in a 12L container. I've been lazy and put off transplanting it into the ground. Unfortunately it has begun to bud. Should I leave it in the container it's currently in due to the beginning of flowering or is it worth putting her in the ground?
My location is near a water source so she'll be able to get plenty of water if she's in the ground (almost died once due to not watering enough) and she should be able to grow a bit bigger with more space for her roots. I'm really leaning towards putting her in the ground but I'm not 100% certain. I'll get some picks up in a couple of days.

Just had a read through the thread. Good to see a few fellow tripme members haha. I'm jealous of all of you with access to good seeds lol. Can't justify the risk of importing certain goods anymore. :/ IME clones just don't have as much vigour. Anyway; Would it be a good idea to chuck some water crystals in the hole I'm going to dig for my plant? I've decided I'm definitely going to transplant it as otherwise she'll get rootbound.

Yeah mate transplant it for sure, 12 litres is good for 3 months of total growth. Clones have more vigour in late season and way more structure to them, seeds need a full season to get the best out of them. Clones are much more efficient for hydroponics and how many harvests per year too

Yep the spot gets 6 hours + direct sunlight. Was told it was some haze cross that was quite prone to 'hermieing' if it had to compete for light. It doesn't look very sativa like, however it had to reveg a little bit when I got her so she only has mostly three finger leaves at the moment which may be the reason for her appearance.

Sweet as, Haze is more of a generic name for a sativa these days. A real Haze will have the skinniest leaves and will take forever to finish.

pretty sure them bugs aren't aphids snapper. the little ones with the fuzzy white hairs. always see a few through out the season. They are pretty harmless as they never do any damage and never really get an infestation.you would definitely know about it if you had aphids

Haha not really bro, I wouldn't grow indoors if I had some decent land to grow on - I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I had a block of land, go crazy with 100's of seeds.
Those things are a pain in the ass, I've had it real bad before with them crawling up the stems from top to bottom. Those passionvine/fruit hoppers are the worst though, the leave all that black shit on your plants which makes them lose photosynthesis.
How did you get rid of them?.

You might be right. They don't really look much like this do they? At the moment I've got those brown/transparent moth things that kinda click/jump when you touch them. Not sure what they are but ever since they appeared those other bugs disappeared. They don't seem to do any harm. I stumbled upon what looks to be other peoples old grow locations (empty bags of soil and planters in the area) but I haven't found any active grows.
i tryed that fly spray just b4 that heavy rain we had last friday and there wasnt a bug in site on sunday just misted the stems worked a treat ay.. didnt do it to the floiwering ones obviously. hopefuli it done the trick.. wouldnt usually do it sorta last resort but there was millions the little fuckers suckin away on them lol.
