My leaf continue to turn light/Yellow and die ( a little rusted spot started to appeared)... This is becoming a big problem. They're about 7 weeks old in Miracle Grow and i have been feeding them nothing but plain ph 6.0-6.5 water because i know MG is time release and don't want to overfeed my plants . Just recently flushed it because the Ph of runoff was 4.88. IDK what to do now. Also i recently purchased dolomite lime and Epsom salt. they coming in a few days. Don't have a bigger pot to do another transplant How to go about this before is too late?

1) PICTURE OF PLANT *** VERY IMPORTANT ***
2)
Growing indoor or outdoors = (INDOORS)
3)
Watering schedule = EVERY 3 DAYS PLAIN PHED WATER
4)
Growing Medium = MIRACLE GROW
5)
What stage of growth = 7 WEEKS OLD

Lol....how many times do I have to repeat this you would think people would stop doing it with all the info online...DON'T USE MG OR DELAY RELEASE OF ANY BRAND...see, it causes problems for new growers that don't understand how it works and its inferior anyway so why use even of you know what your doing..you had a leaf issue, checked Ph likely that's out of whack due to the Mg, so then you don't know what your doing so you "flushed it" but here's why I tell people not to use delay release you CAN'T flush it..by running more water through you have done the opposite you have released all the nutes into the soil!! The right move was to transplant it into proper soil...live and learn man, try to transplant it or ride it out and never use delay release or Mg again :)

i answered your previous post but i didnt see or know that you flushed it.. yeah your basically fucked now.. when you water mg soil, it releases the nutes... try coco next round... i found it to be much more simple then soil...

I wouldn't use 100 percent coco get a good potting mix from the hydro store ie. Sunshine mix #4 or roots organic bagged potting mix...just my opinion

Well you should really mix with some perlite if your going with coco but still I prefer a soilless or soil mix because full coco is more like doing hydro you need to watch your Ph much closer whereas in soil its almost hard to swing your Ph..also, coco can have problems releasing calcium..I like it in my mix just prefer to buy it bagged with perlite and volcanic rock and a little of this and that, just kind of balances everything out and makes things easier to me..I ignore Ph which I couldn't do in full coco...I guess I also just like the feel and look of a mix...I have heard you get hydro growth rates with it though so its not a bad thing to use coco and perlite I just think for new growers soil is easiest and I stick with what I know to work well personally, maybe ill give it a try eventually but I don't have a ph meter or a desire to get one lol

what are you guys going on about?..........I hate miracle grow but that plant doesn't look burnt..... over watered and under fed but not burnt...... Im not so sure either that even w flushing it theres gonna be enough time release stuff left in it to burn ........

Can i still transplant it to another 5 gallon pot with new Fresh MG medium? since that's all i have right now beside coco or even to coco the other question is once you start with soil you cant go to coco.

I'd say transplant but it would be difficult with all that growth as the roots would be taking up lots of space.

I agree. What I see is a plant that is showing signs of a Magnesium and Nitrogen deficiency. 7 weeks old I imagine the nutes are long gone and its time to start feeding.

Sounds like some peat broke down in the mg soil causing that runoff to be low ph.

Next batch I would go ahead and mix that dolomite in.

If your lime is powdered dolomite you could mix it at a tbs per gal water and do it ONCE.
Please search around and make sure that tbs per gal is correct idr if that's exactly right but Idid that once and those plants are happy the lime takes a whiiiiiiiile to work I usually pre mix powdered lime months in advance at heaping 1/2 cup per cu.ft.

Looks like those time release are becoming inadequate also time for some nutes.

Basiclly looks under fed to me so I'm like thirding that opinion could pot up but if you don't have bigger pots time to nute up if so she should way out grow that pot.

I wasn't necessarily saying he had nute burn I was explaining how delay release works and if their were still delay release balls as they are supposed to feed for three months, he did just release alot of nutes after taking the pictures..I personally would transplant it into a non delay release organic soil mix and larger pot, buy general organics go box, and follow the flowering recipe included! You will alleviate any possible issue by doing this wether it be over fed under fed off Ph doesn't matter..spend the 40 bucks to do this will last two grows the nutes no other way to go imo have to spend a little to make a little

MG works good for me.......
14 days veg, topped once, CFL's in there with 2 other plants.Jan 27 ECSD 119 days old.jpg

I also am seeing deficiency, not a burn.
With the MG Moisture Control, and about 35-40% MG Perlite mixed in, I usually start feeding around 22-25 days from sprout.

nothing wrong with MG soil, had two girls over the summer that I did.....a royal flush in a tote and a Black Russian in a5 gallon bucket. never had a problem, just watered her until she showed me signs of needing help from me(like she's showing you now)and then I lightly fed her. I took my time until I've figured out exactly what she needed and how much you need.

Bake I might be wrong but what would you say if I said I can tell that plant was grown with mg..the strain put the yield on not the nutes imo any others would have done just fine, but that plant has a scraggly look I see on alot of Mg grows, Mg is for ease at the expense of quality imo..never said it doesn't work though!
