Yea she a little stretchy. Like he mjkidd22 said, the plant will double if not triple in size while blooming! I like to keep plants LST trained early, so I start tying it down at 3 weeks. I also keep CFL very close like 1-2" to keep my plants from stretching for light. It looks nice and healthy. Have you started nutrients? What are you using and how much? What is your light for blooming?

hey man,
I am not 100% sure what is happening there with those bottom leaves to be completely honest with you. I've increased CO2 levels recently and that has seemed to help.
2x 30 watt CFL lights at middle of plant both sides.
1x 120 watt HPS light at top of plant.
During the veg stage all three lights were above the plant. :3

hey man,
I use a couple, Thrive concentrate Flower and Fruit Plant Food, Seasol spray on, CO2 replacement, epson salts, and a little bit of a special mixture of things a friend of mine gave me. My light is at 12/12 at the moment. Gonna decrease that by an hour every month from flower induce. :3

@JFK6,
hey man,
What details would you like haha. We don't actually know what strain it is. A mate of mine has a bunch of seeds he has accumulated and we just picked a couple out. Could be anything, though most probably nothing of note. :3

i hope you weren't using the co2 in veg. that seems like an awful long time to be in veg. i wonder about what method you're using to apply co2? when you say you increased co2 levels, what ppm did you end up with? with the wattage of lights you're using, you may want to consider doing a scrog, or start tying down a lot. 120 watt hps and the others, will not penetrate the canopy much at all....

hey man,
No CO2 during veg. I wrote CO2 but I meant Mg, sorry. 3: . Thats why I bought the epson salts, I am almost certain that thrive doesn't have magnesium in it.
Those bottles in the back are actually vinegar. Every few days I put vinegar and bi carb soda into a dish that sits near the plant, releasing a quantity of CO2 into the air around it. :3.
The penetrating reason is exactly why I have the CFS lights on the side of the plant, so the leaves under the canopy still get sufficient light. CFLs are 30 watt, the HPS is 120 watt.

Just to give you an idea for comparison. Yours plant is great, but you can always do more if you want.

My last 8 week veg. under 400w HID.

You're getting there, but the plant could use more light and trimming (LSTing or topping) to maximize your results.

Takes practice and experience. Just be happy your plant is green and you're moving into flowering. Good luck.

hahaha man its ok, I am the one who should be sorry. :3

@prosperian hey man,wow that is impressive. :3. I am humbled by your skill.
Splint - Just have fun with it bro. I can pop over a couple threads and feel the same way, humble, when I see some of the grower operations. Most are friendly and share their experiences with newer growers. Just got to ask.

Once you have smoked your own grown herb, you get the bug and it's hard to stop growing.
